Appeal for Information – Stabbing Shelton 23/07/2026

Staffordshire Police continue to appeal for witnesses for an incident that took place on Ridgway Road, Shelton after a man was fatally stabbed in the area of Hanley Park and Ridgway Road. Were you in the area between the hours of 1800 and 2000 hours on Thursday 23rd July 2026?

Details of Incident:

Police were called at 7.40pm Thursday 23 July to Ridgway Road, Shelton, following reports that a man had been stabbed.

The victim, 44 yr old Christopher Bradbury from Stoke on Trent, sadly died at the scene. His next of kin continue to be supported by specially trained officers.

Three men have now been charged with murder. 

Hassan Ahmed , 19 who is British Asian and from Shelton , Stoke on Trent, has appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 29th July) and has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Stoke on Trent Crown Court tomorrow (Thursday 30 July).

Subhan Nadeem, 20, and Dhannish Mahmood, 19, appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (Tuesday 28th July) and were remanded into custody ahead of a hearing at Stoke on Trent Crown Court today (Wednesday 29th July).
